A few days ago, we shared information about the special Nitradog titles.
Many of you already have them in your collections.

But do you also own the MyDOGSHOW SK Special Titles?

These titles can be obtained in all categories, however each of the three required results must come from a different show organized under www.dogshow.sk.

Simply explained:

• one win from Novohraddog,
• one win from Dogfestival,
• one win from Nitradog.

Yes, that’s correct – the NITRADOG Carnival Cup also counts.
So if Nitradog is the missing piece in your set, you have the opportunity to complete it right at the beginning of the new year.

ITRADOG Carnival Cup are among the first dog shows in Slovakia where points are collected for the year-long competition Slovakia Dog Cup.

According to the competition rules, dogs registered in foreign stud books do receive points in the “OPEN” category, however, they are not evaluated in the main competition.

Therefore, we would like to emphasize that if your dog has already been re-registered in the Slovak stud book (SPKP or SÚCHNO), we strongly recommend requesting an update of the registration details in the system.
Please attach a scanned pedigree certificate, clearly showing the registration entry.

If you request the change in connection with the NITRADOG show, which we can accept until January 15, 2026, the data will be updated in www.dogshow.sk, and points from these shows will be counted towards the Slovakia Dog Cup competition.

No problem. The competition also includes an open category for all exhibitors, regardless of country of residence, called Open Slovakia Dog Cup.

GREAT NEWS for all owners of “veteran” dogs

The NITRADOG Carnival Cup will be the first show of the year where you can fulfil the requirements for the Certificate of Longevity for your veteran dogs.

This certificate, introduced by the Slovak Kennel Club on January 1, 2025, officially recognizes a dog’s long life and good health.

Requirements for obtaining the certificate:

• obtain 3× “Excellent” ratings
• in the veteran class
• at international CACIB shows
• the ratings must be awarded by two different judges
• at least one year and one day must pass between the first and third rating

The Certificate of Longevity is a unique distinction, confirming longevity and strong health within a breeding program. It is a clear statement of quality and responsible breeding.

The SLOVAKIA TRIPLE CROWN WINNER title is awarded to a dog that, in 2026, receives at least 1× BOB at each of the following shows:

• NITRADOG Carnival Cup
• NOVOHRADDOG
• DOGFESTIVAL

The NITRADOG Carnival Cup is the first show of the 2026 season where exhibitors can start collecting results towards this prestigious title.

Following our introduction of championship opportunities, we are happy to share another practical benefit for exhibitors.

If your dog completes the requirements for any Slovak national championship during the NITRADOG Carnival Cup, you will be able to obtain the official certificate directly on site – quickly, conveniently and without long waiting times.

The Slovenská kynologická jednota stand will again be present at the NITRADOG Carnival Cup, allowing exhibitors to have their newly completed championships officially confirmed during the show weekend.

Do you have a dog aged 8 years or older?
Veterans are often the true pride of the ring. They may no longer be the youngest competitors, but they bring experience, dignity and character. It is not uncommon to see them even as Best of Breed winners.

The Veteran Class at NITRADOG Carnival Cup is definitely not just a “nostalgia class”.
Veterans can compete for several titles and achieve remarkable results.

Veteran Class titles

• 3× Excellent 1 in the Veteran Class = Slovak Veteran Champion
  (according to the national rules of the Slovenská kynologická jednota; valid for all shows that meet the required criteria)
• 3× Excellent 1 in the Veteran Class at NITRADOG shows = NITRADOG Veteran Winner
  (special NITRADOG title)
• 3× CACIB-V at NITRADOG shows = NITRADOG Veteran Super Winner

All titles listed above can be collected by combining valid results from any NITRADOG shows that meet the respective conditions, including January and December shows.

NITRADOG Carnival Cup as the perfect opportunity to complete the title

Does your working breed dog already have at least one CAC from previous seasons and a valid Working Certificate?
Then NITRADOG Carnival Cup may be the ideal place to complete the Slovak Champion title.

Many exhibitors are not aware that working breeds have different requirements for the Slovak Beauty Champion title compared to non-working breeds. Below is a clear overview.

What is a “working breed”?

A breed for which the FCI requires a working test as a condition for the C.I.B. (International Beauty Champion) title.
This includes many service, herding, guarding and hunting breeds.

Key requirement

The dog must hold a valid Working Certificate (WCC), which is often the most demanding part of the entire process.

Requirements – Slovak Beauty Champion (Working Breeds)

• 2× CAC (instead of 4× CAC for non-working breeds)
• CACs from two different show seasons
• awarded by two different judges
• at least one CAC from an international show (CACIB)
• the dog must have a valid Working Certificate
• resCAC cannot replace CAC
• CACs cannot be used for another championship
• the Working Certificate must be attached to the application

Why Carnival Cup?

If you:

• already have one CAC from previous seasons,
• hold a valid Working Certificate,
• and need just one more CAC,

then NITRADOG Carnival Cup may be the show where you successfully complete your championship.
