BIS WORKING CLASS

Here it is – another NEW feature at Slovak dog shows.
Well known abroad and very popular among exhibitors – finally here.

BEST IN SHOW – WORKING CLASS

The final competition is open to males and females together that achieved the following result in the Working Class:
“Excellent 1, CAC”.

  • No additional entry required
  • Participation is free

Show the quality and exterior of your dogs in a special competition that truly deserves attention.

Breeding group

If you want to step into the final ring, experience the unique atmosphere and take home unforgettable memories, this is the moment.

Breeding Group – a competition with a true “WOW moment”

A breeder may enter a group of 3 to 5 dogs that:

  • are of the same breed, size and colour
  • were bred in the same kennel
  • come from different litters (minimum two different mothers or fathers)
  • do not need to be owned by the breeder

Important note:
The Breeding Group can also be entered on-site, as breeders do not always know in advance which offspring will attend the show.

Unrecognised breeds are back in the final ring

We have another great update for you.

As many of you already know, unrecognised breeds have returned to the final ring programme at dog shows in Slovakia. And we are truly happy about it.

New from January 2026

Young dogs of unrecognised breeds may also enter the final ring if they achieve the title BOJ (Best of Junior).

They will compete directly in the following competition:
Best Junior of Non-FCI Recognised Breeds

This means that not only adult dogs, but also young hopefuls can enjoy their moment in the finals.

Please note:
Unrecognised breeds do not take part in standard competitions (such as Best Brace, Breeder’s Group, etc.), however they may be presented and awarded in the final ring programme in accordance with the current rules.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you – and your “unrecognised”, yet truly loved companions.

News: Titles in catalogue !

What would a NITRADOG show be without another new feature?

This time, we decided to introduce a catalogue feature that has been in long-term demand.

From now on, you can list your dog’s earned titles next to their name in the show catalogue.
Champions will now proudly carry their achievements directly in the official NITRADOG catalogue.

How does it work? It’s very simple:

  • visit www.dogshow.sk,
  • select My dogs,
  • click the pencil icon next to your dog’s name,
  • fill in the new field “Earned titles”.

Titles can be added until the show closing date.

Show off your champion’s achievements – now also directly in the NITRADOG catalogue.

Grooming studio

Your favorite grooming area will also be available at the NITRADOG Carnival Cup.
In each hall, you will find a tent transformed into a GROOMING STUDIO.

Exhibitors will have access to:

  • an electric power connection,
  • good lighting for final grooming before entering the ring,
  • basic cleaning equipment, including a dustpan, broom and trash bin.

Thank you in advance for helping us keep the grooming areas clean.

Each exhibitor is responsible for bringing their own grooming tables and equipment.

We kindly ask exhibitors to use the grooming tents only for the necessary time required for grooming and not to occupy the space longer than needed.
This will ensure comfort and fair access for everyone.

We look forward to seeing you.

  • and most importantly, joy, without pressure.

At the NITRADOG Carnival Cup, Toy Handling belongs among the most heartwarming parts of the show program, filled with first attempts, first successes and genuine excitement.

Participation in Toy Handling is completely free of charge.
It is part of the show program offered to both exhibitors and visitors at no extra cost.

Special titles MyDogshow

A few days ago, we shared information about the special Nitradog titles.
Many of you already have them in your collections.

But do you also own the MyDOGSHOW SK Special Titles?

These titles can be obtained in all categories, however each of the three required results must come from a different show organized under www.dogshow.sk.

Simply explained:

  • one win from Novohraddog,
  • one win from Dogfestival,
  • one win from Nitradog.

Yes, that’s correct – the NITRADOG Carnival Cup also counts.
So if Nitradog is the missing piece in your set, you have the opportunity to complete it right at the beginning of the new year.

More information is available at:
www.nitradog.sk in the Titles & Certificates section.

If you already own any of the MyDOGSHOW SK Special Titles, feel free to share a photo in the comments or send it to us via direct message – we will be happy to reshare it.

DOG CUP 2026

ITRADOG Carnival Cup are among the first dog shows in Slovakia where points are collected for the year-long competition Slovakia Dog Cup.

According to the competition rules, dogs registered in foreign stud books do receive points in the “OPEN” category, however, they are not evaluated in the main competition.

Therefore, we would like to emphasize that if your dog has already been re-registered in the Slovak stud book (SPKP or SÚCHNO), we strongly recommend requesting an update of the registration details in the system.
Please attach a scanned pedigree certificate, clearly showing the registration entry.

If you request the change in connection with the NITRADOG show, which we can accept until January 15, 2026, the data will be updated in www.dogshow.sk, and points from these shows will be counted towards the Slovakia Dog Cup competition.
Contact e-mail: info@dogshow.sk

We also recommend submitting the update request in www.onlinedogshows.sk, if you have not already done so.
Requests should be sent to: info@onlinedogshows.sk

Do you live outside Slovakia?
No problem. The competition also includes an open category for all exhibitors, regardless of country of residence, called Open Slovakia Dog Cup.

GREAT NEWS for all owners of “veteran” dogs

The NITRADOG Carnival Cup will be the first show of the year where you can fulfil the requirements for the Certificate of Longevity for your veteran dogs.

This certificate, introduced by the Slovak Kennel Club on January 1, 2025, officially recognizes a dog’s long life and good health.
