Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten our little ones at the Nitradog Christmas Cup! We are preparing the TOY HANDLING competition again.
In Slovakian shows, for security reasons, the “Child and Dog” competition has not been held at international or national shows for several years. However, we want to nurture the passion for dog shows (and pedigree dogs) among our youngest, whose age doesn’t yet allow them to compete in Junior Handling.
Inspired by a lovely Scandinavian competition, we introduced it to our shows.After its very successful debut, Toy Handling became an essential part of Nitradog and Dogfestival, allowing children up to 9 years old to once again enjoy the excitement of competing.
They will demonstrate skills like the “up & down” or a circle, but without any worries about a dog running away or pulling a small handler. Children will show their toys – plush toys, wheeled toys, or others.
TOY HANDLING will be open all days, giving children the chance to improve and enjoy each show day. Parental presence is required due to GDPR forms.
Don’t forget to plan your visit to the ACTIVITY RING in Hall M5! Your applause will truly brighten the day for these young participants.
