FUN FACT: How many countries usually join the Carnival Cup?

The Carnival Cup is traditionally one of the most international shows of the season. Every year, it usually welcomes exhibitors from more than 25 countries across Europe and beyond — from neighbouring nations to those travelling thousands of kilometres to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the NITRADOG Carnival Cup. That’s exactly why the Carnival Cup is known for its strong competition and exceptional atmosphere.

And what about you? Are you already registered?

𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 are the last international dog shows of the year in Slovakia, where points can still be “collected” for the popular year-round competition – 𝑺𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒂 𝑫𝒐𝒈 𝑪𝒖𝒑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

Do you live outside Slovakia but regularly attend shows here? Great! We also have a special category open to all dogs, no matter the country of residence or stud book. This category is called 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒂 𝑫𝒐𝒈 𝑪𝒖𝒑.

It’s probably no big secret that since February 2023 we’ve been organizing 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗴 shows in a “new style”.

And one of the activities that exhibitors themselves repeatedly asked for is our successful 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.
We introduced it for the first time last February, and since then it has become one of the most in-demand accompanying activities of our shows.

So if you’re wondering whether to enter your dog – our answer is definitely 𝗬𝗘𝗦!
Besides the judging of your dog, the great atmosphere and beautifully prepared rings, you also get a unique opportunity to attend our Handling School completely FREE of charge.

• During all show days from 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬–𝟭𝟯:𝟬𝟬, our instructors will be available for you in the Activity Ring:
• Thursday & Sunday: FCI judge for exterior and junior handling, long-time exhibitor and show dog trainer, 𝗩𝗶𝗸𝘁𝗼́𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗸𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰̌.
• Friday & Saturday: junior handling judge, active exhibitor and show dog trainer, 𝗝𝗼𝘇𝗲𝗳 “𝗗𝗼𝗱𝗼” 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘆.

We look forward to seeing you – and to everyone who wants to improve, ask questions, or try new techniques in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Dear exhibitors, we are very much looking forward to the December shows and also to the 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 competition!

As you are probably used to at Nitradog shows, on the last show day we also open the 𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗟𝗘𝗥 competition, and it will not be any different during the 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽.

The winners of both categories from all show days qualify for it, which means that a 𝗺𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟴 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲.

We remind you that not a single day in December will be a qualifying competition and will not be open for the finalists of the National Finals. We believe that we will discover new talents from Slovakia and abroad.

And already now we are curious who will take home not only this unique title, but also a unique trophy, which we will inform you more about a bit later.

A few days ago, we shared information about the special Nitradog titles. Many of you already have them in your collection.

But do you also have the MyDOGSHOW SK Special Titles at home? They can be obtained in all categories, however each of the three results must come from a different show organized under www.dogshow.sk.

(Simplified – one victory from Novohraddog, one from Dogfestival and one from Nitradog.)
And yes, that’s right! Our Nitradog Christmas Cup also counts – so if Nitradog is the one missing in your set, you can go for it already in December.

❗ Overnight stay or camping in the parking area is not allowed.
After the final competitions (or Christmas party) we kindly ask you to leave the parking area and not to stay overnight.

Dear Juniors! It´s your time to shine!

Do you like the world of dog shows and would you like to compete in the show ring? he Junior Handling competition is just for you – a competition where the quality of handling is judged, not the quality of the dog. It’s where our young handlers focus on developing their handling skills while also growing as personalities. Winning is nice, but the meaning of the competition is much deeper.

Even though at NITRADOG Christmas Cup the Junior Handling competition will take place during all show days, it will not be a qualifying competition and will not be open for the finalists of the National Finals.
We believe that we will discover new talents from Slovakia and abroad.

Points for the TOP OUTLANDER JUNIOR HANDLER ranking will also be counted from these last four shows. Judges’ CVs will be published soon.
